Pike's Fairie

I know I know - another Birthday card and yes another Dustin Pike. I can't help myself, I picked up a few more Copics recently so have been itching to finally break out some of my Pikes.

I just love this little fairy - GirlFairie1 by Doodle Dragon Studio's. found here. I coloured her with Copics then lightly added Stickles to the wand and wings. The Fairy sentiment is computer generated.

The DP is DCWB - Teen Prints & SU - Delicate Dots, scrap drawer cardstock and Bella Baubles.

Lego-ish Birhtday

Today is my little guys fourth birthday and he is obsessed with Lego's. I doodled this Lego"ish" image then tweaked it in Photoshop.

Originally I had planned for this plastic part dude to be skateboarding, but after resizing him and printing him out onto Xpress paper, he looked to me as if he was flying, hence the DP Nana's Kid Stack paired with Long Time No See by American Crafts.

My green copics don't match the SU Celery Green cardstock, but I only have 1 set of coordinating greens thus far.

I did however find a few great sites that maps out sets or bundles of copic marker colours and how to use them. Susana's site has a great "jeans" tutorial that I can't wait to try once I buy that colour set. Check out this site: Susanas Custom Art and Card Design, as well as this great site: Color Me Copic, their experts give their favorite colour combinations.

Pirate Birthday

I finally go my hands on some X-Press paper from Scrappin Great Deals. It's going to take some getting used to, but I can see it's advantages.

Yes, another birthday card. There have been so many birthday's in my daughters class, it seems like the whole class except for her were born at the end of March. The"Pirate Boy" image is by Dustin Pike - Doodle Dragon Studios.

I coloured the image with Copics and paired it with some retired SU DP. I added some yellow Stickles, dollar store clips and SU ribbon. The sentiment was computer generated.

Purlple Friendship

My daughter has several birthday parties to attend this month. This one is for her best-est school pal. I thought it sort of looked like her friend or at least I tried to colour it so.

The digital stamp is by Tiddly Inks - WhatCha Doin? and coloured with Copics. The DP and sentiment is DCWV - Nana's Kids.

I am really enjoying the immediate satisfaction with purchasing digital stamps vs ordering rubber online. There is only have a small scrapping store in my town with a very limited selection of stamps, so digi's are right up my alley. Now if I only had a Laser printer.

Tiddly Birthday Princess

I picked up some more Copics yesterday and was very excited to try them out so went online and purchases some new Tiddly Ink digi's just for the occasion. After perusing some online Copic Tutorials, I tried out some techniques. I still think I am a little heavy handed with my colouring on this Everyday Princess, but it is getting better.

I have also been using the tutorials to make lists of colours to purchase. I can't wait to try out black hair once I make another purchase as well as reds, I only have one red and two lighter pinks, so I make the best of what I have.

I am not at all loving this layout, it came out more busy then I intended.

Sistah B-Day

I need to get this card in the mail today in order for it to arrive in the US next week. *sigh* wish my sister didn't live so far away.
