Just include you choice in the comments section of your order and Barbara will include it with your purchase! :DNow on to the New Releases. Meet
Sarah and
Chloe. Sarah is reclining in the rocker with her book and Hot Cocoa while happy little
Chloe dishes the latest new to her big sis. Well, at least that what I envisioned when I merged
Sarah and
Chloe together with
MIC's -
fireplace digi.

I had to main goals when I put together this card. First; to finally dig into the gorgeous Bo Bunny - Vicki B Collection DP which was also paper pieced as wallpaper.
Secondly; to emphasize the shadows and highlights cast by the fireplace on all the elements, not just the characters. Since the fireplace was my source of light, the characters and such have areas closest to the fireplace highlighted and are in shadow on areas furthest away from the fireplace.

I love how Chloe's shirt turned out. Yes I did purposely change the order of the pink and green stripes on the sleeves, but I think it looks a bit random now. Should have stuck to a pattern. I also admittedly went easy on the layout, since it took me such a long time colouring the image.
How's the photo? I am trying a new trick I learned from watching this
tutorial from
Deconstructing Jen. I have a standard off the shelf digital camera that won't do the adjustments Jen suggest. I however did follow the Level-white eye dropper and sharpening effect in PS on my image. The difference was HUGE! Can't rave enough about the changes.
