Melanie New Release

Time for the Thursday New Releases from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I chose to feature gorgeous star catcher Melanie. Don't forget to check the Challenge Blog to see samples of new images.

I apologize for how "surprised looking" I coloured her ;D. I was playing with Barbara's (owner/designer LMM stamps) technique of adding more facial definition with my Copics. I think I made my dark shadow beside her nose extend too high above the eye brow. If it had gone under the eyebrow, Melanie would have looked less shocked.

I have combined the following challenges to create my card.
Splitcoaststampers: SC349 - Wednesday Sketch challenge
Allsorts - Week #119 Blue & Green
Pile It On - PIO#36, B is for: bows
My Mums Craft Shop - Layer It Up

Stephanie...I think your coloring is perfect (as always) and she looks great. Love the rosette you used and the color scheme is great. Thanks for joining us at MMCS layer it up challenge!

I think she looks great! I've been working with that technique as well and I'm finding it rather tedious to get down. Love the added paper flower and the ribbon!

This is such a fun card and great colors! I love the pleated ribbon she is sitting on and how it matches the medallion you made. ;D The sentiment is fun too! *Hugs
