LMM - Fancy or Lacey

Good Morning and welcome to another Little Miss Muffet Challenge - #29. Today we are making Fancy or Lacey projects.

I nearly choked on my Cheerieo's last week when I popped over to Inspiration post to grab the link and saw that Juliana Herrmann had used the very same images that I had already prepared for this week's challenge. I chalk it up to us both be very clever ;D Not one to waste, I still had to use it, after all it was already coloured up and begging to be made into a card.

MIC - Ivy Window Wall
DCWV - stack pack
button, dollar store flower brads & lace
SU sentiment - Fifth Avenue Floral
Quickutz - Flourish
Now head on over to the Challenge Blog and check out the fab projects my Teamies made.

Submitted for the following challenges:

Crafts and Me - #72 Shades of Spring
Inky Impressions - Bright Colours
The Sisterhood of Crafter's - Getting Digi With It (both images are digi's)
Totally Gorjuss - #119 Lace

Watcha Doin Wryn - New Release

Argh, I am having such camera issues. I am taking photo's and they look fin, all is well, but I upload them and they look dramatically different. Being that I am soooo under the weather, I gave up and my hubby took the photo for me, hence the tall building view angel ;D

Any way, onto a new Wryn release by Tiddy Inks, this is Watcha Doin'? merged with Make It Crafty's - Open Window digi. Check out the Tiddly Inks blog for more awesome samples from the DT's. BTW the Open Window also is available as a rubber stamp.

Quaint Cottage Inspiration Friday

Quick note, this card was chosen as one of the "FAVORITES for the week ending February 19, 2012. on SplitCoaststampers!

You MUST MUST MUST check out the new "Paris" release collaboration by Little Miss Muffet Stamps, Make It Colourful and Whimsy Stamps. All perfectly coordinated, you can buy: rubber stamps, digital stamps, backgrounds, background elements, sentiments, sentiment borders, and laser cut chipboard elements! How can you pass this up.

LMM - Sophia
MIC - Quaint Cottage
DP - Stampin Up
Now that I ranted, here is my Little Miss Muffet inspiration card of the week, and don't forget to check the DT over at the LMM Challenge Blog.
haha, I have to laugh! Barbara of LMM always does a coloured version of each image for her store site. I just popped over to get the linky of Sophia for this post and we coloured our Sophia's in the same outfit colours, even the shoe's. I HONESTLY had not peeked at her colouring before hand. I try not to, so that the colour can be completely unique to me. Same as the MIC cottage, I did not look at Zoe's coloured version first so as not to be influenced before hand.

Apparently I'm on a roll. I just popped over to the Challenge blog and Juliana Herrmann used the exact two images that I merged together for my next challenge, hehe and I have already coloured it too. So much for being original ;D

Submitted for the following challenges:

Cowboy Wryn & Other Wryn Release

Hey great news! There are some more ever so popular NEW Wryn images available this week at the Tiddly Inks store - Cowboy Wryn and Wryn with hearts.

TI Image - Cowby Wyn
Deconstructing Jen - The Deconstructed Sketch #37
Skirt is NOT paper pieced - I made my own plaid with Copics
DP - Echo Park & miscellaneous scraps
In homage to Jen, I tried doing the doodle borders, very nerve racking stuff! I tried my hand at making my own plaid using just Copics, not bad, but on close inspection, a tad messy. Almost messed up the hat too, a lot of Zero was used to save the day, thank goodness too, I had already finished colouring everything else.

One major flaw, I think I should have printed Wryn larger. Oh well!

LMM Valentines Challenge #28

Are you done with all of your Valentine cards yet? I hope not because Little Miss Muffet is hosting a Valentines & Love Challenge #28.

This was a technique challenge for me as well. I wanted to give a go at adding textured in the fur using my Copics. There a some mistake, but overall I am pleased.

My TOP TIP: I used an exacto knife to trace the mouth of this gorgeous pooch in order to place my heart die cuts. You can make any image fit the occasion with this trick.

Entered in the following challenges:
Digi Doodle Shops Best - #93 Love Is In the Air
Truly Scrumptious - #73 Love and Hearts
Use it on Tuesday - #24 All About Love
Top Tip Tuesday - #69 Valentine's and Tipper Week

Tiddly Alien Cuteness!

Argh! Every have one of those crafting days when everything seems to go awry? My Cricut seems to be on the fritz and decided to stop for no apparent reason. My Blue Copics are all running OUT, not low, OUT. And my printer ink smudged all over while colouring this project. I'm not sure which items to replace first, I seem to be running low on EVERYTHING, even my Glossy Accents, for shame! Argh!

Admittedly I think this little guys is much cuter in green skin tones, but I didn't choose a DT with green in it, my bad. As well, he is much darker then I intended, it was my light Copics that kicked the bucket. I did my best to work through all my colouring dilemma's, but something was terribly off today. I am not positive, but I think the scrap of Copic Paper I used may not have been Copic paper, hence all my issues.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your crafting is going smoother then mine ;D

Entered into the Following Challenges:
Card Patterns - Sketch #149
Craft Your Passion - #94 Colour Bingo - Blue, Red Grey
One Stitch at a Time Challenge - #97 Round & Round

LMM - Blue and Cream #27 Play Along

Today's challenge over at the Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog is to use Blues and Creams. Easy enough.
I used LMM image Paprika. I didn't do her justice however, and got a way too carried away with the blue, much darker then I had planned. The paper is from SU, a paper pack I won waaaaaaay back, not even sure what the colour is called, it's not "Not Quite Navy" Oh well. Enjoy and please grab a Little Miss Muffet image and join along with us this week.

Don't forget to come back next Thursday for the Little Miss Muffet New Releases! They are a don't miss!

Entered in the Following Challenges: (I think this is everyone! If I have missed anyone, my apologies)

Tiddly Tuesday - Color Challenge - green, yellow, orange and blue

Welcome back to another Tiddly Inks Challenge - #78. This week we have a Colour Challenge for you. Lets see how these colours inspire you!

Color Challenge - green, yellow, orange and blue

As you can see, I didn't EXACTLY adhere to the same shades as the colour image, but we have included the words too, they are where I chose my inspiration.

When I saw the challenge colour palette image, I instantly thought of this SU Delicate Dots DP collection. I happened across a wonderful tutorial for making paper chevrons by Jennifer McGuire Ink, which bloomed these creations. They look incredibly complicated, but are easy to make and use very little DP.

All of my supplies seem to be running out at once. So some of my colouring is off due to low Copic ink. I've found that my Copics stop blending easily once the colour starts to dry out. My greens, blues and skin tones are all acting up! blah!

TI - Baby Girl
I had to reprint her head and adhere with dimensional tape due to Copic ink failure ;(

Friends are the Flowers of Life - Tiddly Inks Blog Hop

Welcome to Tiddly Inks' first blog hop of the year!

We are celebrating the many friends that make our world a more lovely place and are so glad you are here as one of them. :)

We are trying to keep this simple, so the blog hop is based on the Challenge Blog home page. Instead of directing you to the next page, we suggest you keep the Challenge Blog open and create a new window for the hopping around (click Control when you click on each link and it will open the link in a new window).

After you visit with me today, just click HERE to return you to the main list (and that is where the prizes are listed...hint!)

Have fun playing along with everyone!

Tiddly Inks - Wryn or my boo ;D
Did you know that Tiddly Inks - Wryn is loosely based on Chrisy's daughter? Our kids must look alike because this is a complete caricature of my Boo, straggly hair falling out of the pony tales and all. The only thing missing is her busily doodling away with crayons.

I used a sheet of chipboard that shipped with an online order and cut it with my SU Top Note die run through my Cuddle Bug Machine.

My project today is a chipboard mini album using my SU - Top Note die and Wryn of course. You know how I love the bright colours, so I dipped into my Echo Park - Splash collection again - it has served me so well.

Inspired by Julie Johnson of Paisley and Polkadots, I tried to make a bundled mini album that was busting with accents without looking messy. Check out her blog, her mini albums are so stinkin' creative.

These photos are varying ages of Princess-ness!

Lots of chipboard layers.
Also, some great news! As a special thank-you for stopping by today, Christy has donated Belinda (seen below) to one lucky commenter of this post. So please leave a comment on this post, include your email address for your chance to win. There are more single image prizes to be won, so check out ALL the DT members blogs or you'll miss out.

LMM #26 Something New

I used E11, E33 and R23 for the skin tones on the middle Sugar N Spice doll. What colour Copics do you use for darker skin? As you can see, I started at her feet using E31 too, but it turned it all a bit green so didn't end up using it elsewhere.

Hey all, time for our first Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge of the new year and it's a super easy one - Use Something New! We also have two new DT Members joining us this week, so please welcome AJ and Shelby.

I have used these Little Miss Muffet's image - Cinnamon, Rosemary & Peppermint in this configuration for a previous challenge. They are from the Sugar N' Spice Doll Collection at LMM. Anyway, I had an extra copy printed just in case I messed up with my Copics. I've been meaning to use the extra, so today was as good a day as any. Cinnamon, Rosemary & Peppermint are so adorable together, they look like they are ready for a party, hence the Let's Get Together sentiment from Studio G Clear Stamps.

My something new is the "Parisian" border punch from Michael's which was left in my stocking. Thanks Santa ;D All combined with old various Echo Park - Summer Days DP.

Okay so now that you have seen my card and hopefully checked out the other LMM DT's, grab yourself something new and play along.

Submitted for the following challenges:
The Crazy Challenge - CCH #100 Party
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - New Something (new border punch)
Scrap-Creations Challenge - Something Old, Something New (new punch, old paper scraps)
Sassy Studio Designs - Something New #106 (new border punch)

Tiddly Inks Celebration #77

You must must must see the adorable new release "Wryn" at the Tiddly Store. TOO cute! What a way to start off the New Year - FABULOUS!

Welcome back and Happy New Year to everyone! Just a note: our regular challenges are changing to last two weeks, so you now have plenty of time to participate. As well our DT will blog Inky inspirations for you each week, so please stop by and give us all some love. Now on to our current challenge: The Tiddly Inks Design Team is back and ready to start the year off with a "Celebration!" Any celebration, and don't forget a Tiddly!

Oh my gosh, I think I am in a Holiday coma. When I finally dragged myself to my craft table, which had been confiscated for the Christmas dinner table, I had a lot of searching to do. I couldn't find half my stuff. So scraps it was, along with some new Christmas goodies.

This card is to celebrate my hubby and I's 19th wedding Anniversary which is January 30th. He saw me colouring the image and ran off to grab some googly eyes. He very desperately wanted me to use them on the girl so she would looked shocked.

Tiddly Inks image - Vamp Me
Sweet Sunday Sketch - Challenge #149
October Afternoon DP - Fly a Kite
Sentiments - SU: Treat Yourself, Studio G: always and forever
I used my NEW EK success Journal page punch and Tim Holtz game spinners. I didn't realize the dials had turned down until I uploaded the photo, oh well.

My little darling 6 year old daughter played along with me this week too. She has some fun cards she made to send to her extended family. How cute. With Christy's permission, I also made up a Inkspot watermark just for her.

Tiddly Ink image - Annie's Art
SU sentiment -
I smudged out her handwritten name on the tag and under the circle stamp.
Jillybean - Watermelon and Gazpacho Soup DP
Boo hand wrote "having" over the Fun In the Sun on the tag.
She wanted everyone to know that the yellow is the glow off the Angel's wings.
So glad you stopped by. Please don't forget to check out my Tiddly peeps at the challenge blog, they work so hard and design so well.
Don't forget to check out the Teamies! Wowzer - you won't be disappointed.

Saffron

Hello everyone. I hope your holiday break is going wonderfully! We are having a special "free image" challenge at the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog. Download your free image of Saffron and join along.

I printed Saffron onto beige cardstock and coloured her with Prismacolour pencils. I picked up a few more colours to try an ethnic skin tone. I used the same beige cardstock and chocolate chip with Jillybean Soup - Dutch Mustard DP. I added snow effect on the muff and a Tim Holtz pin on the ribbon.

Here is a list of the prismacolours I used on the skin tone, from darkest to lightest:
PC 946 - Dark Brown
PC 945 Sienna Brown
PC 943 Burnt Ochre
PC 942 Yellow Ochre and peach to tone down the yellow (not positive if I used PC 939 Peach or PC 927 Light Peach)

I just kept blending until the skin tones looked correct.

Check out the Little Miss Muffet DT - they rock!
