Hubby B-Day

Here's hoping my husband doesn't look at my blog before the end of the month. He is turning the BIG FOUR - Oh!

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #123. For my image it made more sense to reverse the layout and sentiment.
I finally got some new Copics to help blend with the stater kit I received for Christmas. Such fun. I can't wait to get some more - it certainly makes quick work of colouring in.

Details:
Stamps: Pink Cat Studio - Party Animals
Paper: Imaginisce B-Day Bash: Wish Big, Hip Hip Hooray & Confetti, SU - Riding Hood Red
Ink: Copics
Embellishments: Stickles, scallop punch, scallop border punch, cut out sentiment from Hip Hip Hooray paper reverse side.

SC252 Halloween

I purchased 4 new digi stamps from Pink Cat Studio, specifically to use with my new Copic starter set which was an early Christmas present from my adorable hubby. Thanks hubby.

My markers bled a little, I wonder if I need to try my SU-Whisper White instead? Any thoughts, what paper works best for Copic colouring? I am stilling also learning the technique and need to get myself 2-3 markers of the same colour family - to do better blending. I also am not terribly impressed that that the starter kit comes with such dark values, when it seems that the light shades are the most important - at least that's my impression from all the tutorials I have watched on You Tube.

The layout was today's Sketch Challenge over at SplitCoastStampers, challenge # SC252.

Details:
Stamps: Pink Cat Studio Digi stamp: Itty Bitty Betty - Yummy Frogs
Ink: Copics
Paper: Kelly Panacci: Halloween Stripes, Halloween Circles, Orange Mini Dots, Imaginisce spider border
Accessories: Spellbinders: scallop rectangle, Sandylion sticker sentiment

Tool-A-Fella

I really don't have very many masculine stamps, so I have been re-using the ones I do over and over again. I have WAY too many male cards to do for the month of June.

I had a little chuckle with myself thinking I could do up a computer generated sentiment "Your a #1 Tool", hehe. I'm not sure the receiver would appreciate the pun.

The hammer and tool box are a bit large for the Fella, but I wanted to a fella without golf clubs or beer, so used the tools from the Pink Cat Studio - Dress Up Billy set.

Details:
Stamps: Stamping Bella - Beerafella, Pink Cat Studio - Dress Up Billy, Studio G sentiment
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black, AMM - Chocolate paper stain, Copics, Tombows
Paper: SU - Old Olive Designer Series & Chocolate Chip, DCWV Fall Mat stack - shorts
Accessories: SU - Chocolate Chip ribbon

Dress Up Billy Birthday!

It's my littlest second Birthday tomorrow. I special ordered the Pink Cat Studios "Dress Up Billy" for his card as well as the SU Designer Series - Manchester to co-ordinate with the Kraft and Baja Breeze cardstocks that I bought a month or so ago.

I'm super happy with the turn out. It went smoothly which doesn't alwasy happen with me, I am always second guessing myself. The whole outfit, hat, shirt, overall's even bandanna are paper pieced in "Manchester" paper. I brushed the outside edges of the scallop rectangle in Baja Breeze ink and raised the image with Dollar Store dimensionals.

Paper: Baja Breeze, Kraft, SU Designer Series "Manchester"
Ink: Baja Breeze, Copic, Tombow
Embellishments: SU Billboard Diecut, retangle nestabilities, Dollar Store dimensionals

Two for One

I had to whip up two cards very quickly for friends in the US, since my daughter is leaving tomorrow to go down to visit.

The graduation card I wish I had embossed, but sadly, I was feeling to lazy to redo it.

Piggy birthday is by Pink Cat, I love this set I think I will end up using it a lot.
