I wanted to attempt a black and white image for this little Punk Girl digi I bought specifically for my eldest daughters 20th birthday.
I first attempted colouring the image using a range of Cool Gray Copics earlier this week. I wasn't happy with the effect. The flesh looked too blue to me. After my husband picked up 2 more Gray tone Copics for me on the way home from work, I gave it another go last night. The Gray's turned out much nicer.
This digital stamp Gothic Girl by The Paper Shelter. This image reminded me so much of Emily Strange who's image littered every inch of my daughters bedroom when she was an early teen.
I used W9, W7, W5, W3, W1, W0 & 0 for the black & white effect, and R22, R20 and W# for the pink. I outlined the image with C1.
The Pink Paper is DCWV - Blossom's and Butterfly's, both black papers were remnants from my scrap drawer I think they were both purchased from Michael's. I added ribbon, rhinestones and a heart button to finish it off.
