Saffron
Hello everyone. I hope your holiday break is going wonderfully! We are having a special "free image" challenge at the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog. Download your free image of Saffron and join along.
I printed Saffron onto beige cardstock and coloured her with Prismacolour pencils. I picked up a few more colours to try an ethnic skin tone. I used the same beige cardstock and chocolate chip with Jillybean Soup - Dutch Mustard DP. I added snow effect on the muff and a Tim Holtz pin on the ribbon.
Here is a list of the prismacolours I used on the skin tone, from darkest to lightest:
PC 946 - Dark Brown
PC 945 Sienna Brown
PC 943 Burnt Ochre
PC 942 Yellow Ochre and peach to tone down the yellow (not positive if I used PC 939 Peach or PC 927 Light Peach)
I just kept blending until the skin tones looked correct.
Check out the Little Miss Muffet DT - they rock!

Kiddie Gift Bags Tiddly Style
For those of you who have perused my blog through the previous years, you have seen this project before in some form or another. It's so easy to do and great for the kiddies at Christmas time. As well, if I recall properly last year I took a break from Snowman Soup and made Reindeer Food ;D
This is the Christmas treat bags for both my First Grader's and my Kindergartener's classmates. I coloured up the snowman from Tiddly Inks - Inky Critters in PhotoShop and added the Snowman Soup poem before saving as a jpeg, which I turned into multiple gift tags for the treat bags. Easy Peasy - lemon squeezy.
My Snowman Soup had to be food allergy friendly, since there is a Glutton and a Nut Allergy in my DD's class. The mini marshmallows and Allen's candy canes were both allergy free, but I had a heck of a time finding wheat free hot cocoa. I finally found an organic brand that would fit the bill, but of course it was twice the price ;D Oh well!
Here is the snowman soup poem. I have been using this same one for a few years, like I said earlier, the kiddies love it.

Was told you've been real good this year
Always glad to hear it
With freezing weather drawing near
You'll need to warm the spirit
So here's a little Snowman Soup
Complete with stirring stick
Just add hot water, sip it slow
It's sure to do the trick

Avenger Merry Holidays!
Happy Friday and Merry Holidays to you all!
This is Christmas Avenger from the Tiddly Inks Basement along with Make It Crafty's - Gift Way all blinged up and combined with Echo Park - Season's Greetings DP. The snowflake ribbon is re-purposed from gift from a friend.
Originally this was just suppose to be a shaker card for this weeks Tiddly White Christmas challenge, but as you see it got VERY BRIGHT! I also converted the shaker into a detachable Christmas Tree Ornament in the end. I adhered the shaker ornament to the card with re-mountable adhesive (it looks like white gum), I'm not sure of it's proper product name.
Here is the Splitcoaststampers - Shaker Card Tutorial. My kiddies LOVE ornament, they are always make the snow fly.
Hope you are all having a fantastic and non frantic lead up to Christmas. I have one more project coming up next week, so if you have time please stop by. If you can't, I wish you and yours a wonderful Holiday Season!!!

Tiddly - White Christmas #76
Hey all! Wow, has all of your free time been gobbled up by Christmas happenings? Mine sure has. But if you can, please make some time to join us today for our Tiddly Inks Challenge - #76 White Christmas! It's our last TI Challenge for 2011! Great way to knock off a much needed Holiday card maybe!
I have a confession. This wasn't my original't card for the White Christmas challenge. The first one, I went all out of control with colour so decided to give it another go. I'll save the original for the following week, so don't forget to come back ;D
Enough of that, meet Tiddly Inks - Lilli Claire - Warm Wishes. Being inspired by Dorcas Designs, I just had to color on kraft paper with Prisma Colour pencils. Dorcas colours on kraft cardstock like no-one I have ever seen before, she is phenomenal.
I did the fur and the falling snow with a white Sharpie paint pen, which made the white pop. I didn't use mineral spirits or anything such thing, just the pencils. I found that they were creamy enough to blend on their own. I have to laugh, this card displays every PrismaColour I own, I only have 10 :D DP is Bo Bunny - Snowfall Collection
Sorry for more die cut snowflakes, but there is a bunch hanging around my crafting table from earlier projects, so they snuck in.
Don't forget to check out the Teamies! Wowzer - you won't be disappointed.

Buttons Anyone?
Hey, are you ready for another Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge? Today is an easy peasy one, #24 - BUTTONS & RIBBONS! Use buttons and ribbons on your craft. Be creative, be simple, just grab some buttons n' ribbons and play along with us.
Oh, my ribbons is the string for the button balloons.
I can't take credit for the button balloons idea. I saw it last week on Stamplified and thought what a fun idea. I used Agent Cupcake Descending along with Out & About DP pack by Memory Keepers.
I've had this paper for eons and finally got to pull it out for this weeks City Crafter Challenge Blog - #86 Home For the Holidays , I chose the option of displaying a home - the apartment buildings. It created a comic book feel.
This card is entered in the following challenges:
Priscillastyles - MSC133 Sketch Challenge (You can just barely make out my green oval)
Cute Card Thursday - #194 Anything Goes
City Crafter Challenge Blog - #86 Home For the Holidays (apartment buildings)
Inky Impressions Challenge - #36 Use Ribbon (string on balloon buttons)
Head on over and see the other Button inspired creations at the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog.

Sexy It Up!
Today is a new Tiddly Inks Challenge! # 75 - Oh La La - Sexy Card to Warm Things Up! Get out your favorite most sexy Tiddly Inks image and join along. As well check out the DT's creations, they are sex-tactular!
Hmm, should I have spelled it "Chickie"??? Oh well, since it's not technically a real word, spelling doesn't count ;D
I am so bummed! On the left side I made this cool ribbon border piece (SVG Slotted Ribbon Border - Images by Heather M) that looked so much like a garter belt, then promptly covered it up with my image and roses so you can barely see it ;D
This is Tiddly Inks - Tainted Gothic Pinup (1 or 2 version) with
Make It Crafty's - Urban Street Elements and a
Computer Generated sentiment - City Burn font by dfont.com
My best friend growing up turns 40 in February as do I, so I thought a card on the Fabulously Forty side was necessary!
I struggled with photographing this card, it was hard to have the true red of her hair not turn pink while keeping the details of the roses.
I raided the next town over's Michael's Crafts store for this card - wish we had one in my town :(
Details:
DP - Posh by Teresa Collins
Roses - Recollections
Gem Flourishes - Recollections
Feathers - my daughters craft cupboard ;D
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Paper Sundaes - Sundae Bar #98 (red & die cut slotted ribbon border)
One Stitch at a Time - #91 Be Square
Alphabet Challenge - V for Very Vibrant
Mark's Finest Papers - Favorite Embellishments (feathers, need to use them more often)

Fairy Fae with MIC for Deconstructing Jen
Deconstructing Jen #29 is a fun two week give-away, in honor of Jen's son turning five! I couldn't wait to play along with this fab sketch, and Jen's Design Team will knock your socks off.
I turned the sketch on it's side however to better accommodate my image of Fairy Fae Dreams by Tiddly Inks and Fern Log by Make It Colourful. I printed this up a while ago and have been too busy with Christmas images to finally ink it up with my Copics.
The butterfly border and green circle border are by K & Company, I coloured the butterfly one with E29 because it was actually purple. The DP is Bo Bunny Vicki Collection.
I coloured the fairy wings with my Gelly Roll pen, not sure it shows up well in photo.
This card is entered in the following Challenges:
Deconstructing Jen - Sketch #29
Digi Doodle Shop's Best - #85 Lots of Sparkle (Sparkle Gel Pen in Fairy Fae wings)
Diva's By Design - #16 Anything Goes
Crafting When We Can - Borrow a Sketch

Tiddlying Along and Redo's
Good Morning! I hope all you American's had a fun, festive and safe Thanksgiving. It was just a regular ol' Thursday here in Canada ;D
A friend asked me to dress up the cover of a journal she had purchased for her daughter. The journal flaps are a fairly deep purple, setting my colour choices.
Here's what I came up with. I re-purposed this coloured image of Fairy Fae Catches a Star from a card I made a while back. I had liked how the image came out, but not the card so much. May as well re-use it then to just have it stuffed away in a drawer.
I added the original stylized mat on top of a new square mat to fill out the size for the journal cover, it's quite large - 6" x 9". I was able to pull open the spiral binding to remove the cover in order to properly align the holes on my card stock.
I also added an oversize grommet to one hole on the ribbon to prevent the ribbon from fraying - hopefully. The grommet was large enough to still allow the pages to flip easily.

Little Miss Muffet - Gratitude
Wow, I really need to be better at checking back on the challenges I enter. My Simplicity recipe card won two challenges - Totally Scrumptious (random draw I think) and Raise the Bar - Top 3. I also had a top 3 placing at Send A Smile 4 Kids for my Chloe & Sarah new release card.
Hi there and Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends and family. Welcome to another Little Miss Muffet's Challenge - Gratitude Challenge #23. Show your thanks or appreciation.
This is Little Miss Muffet's - Kaitlyn paired with SandayLion DP scraps. I must confess, I am not in love with this card. Didn't turn out how I envisioned. It the tag, I think it's too far left, I was trying to leave some of the DP text showing. Oh well. We all have off days.
My intentions were good ;D This is to say thanx to my DD friend for the lovely Build A Bear birthday presents.

Tiddlying for Two Weeks
It another fabulous Tiddly Tuesday Challenge - #74 - Anything Goes and this one runs two weeks. I thought the two week challenge was last week, oops, my bad, sorry for any confusion I may have caused. This whole month has been a wonderful Anything Goes theme at the Tiddly Inks Challenge site, so get out your favorite Tiddly and play along with us.
This is Tiddly Inks - Snowy Wishes and Snowman set. I distressed inked the edges of all the Bo Bunny - Snowfall Collection papers shown. The SVG snowflakes were layered and popped up with dimensional tape.
I originally made this card with darker snowflakes as seen above, but then changed my mind and redid them in more traditional snowflake colours.
Snowflake SVG's (multiple) - BirdsCrafts.com
Half Loop Frame SVG - Images by Heather M.
Swirl Flourish SVG - Wanda Crafts
Don't forget to head on over to the Challenge Blog and check out the rest of Tiddly Inkers fabulous designs. You won't be disappointed.

Tiddly Inks Treat Bag - #73 Anything Goes!
Hey friends! Welcome to another Tiddly Inks Tuesday - Challenge #73. Today's challenge is another Anything Goes to help all of us get caught up before the Christmas craziness sets in.
I found this adorable and incredibly easy Treat Bag Cover on Splitcoaststampers. I made the width slightly bigger then the instructions to fit my plastic treat baggie.
I incorporated Tiddly Inks - Inky Critters snowman with Echo Park - Season's Greetings DP . The snowflakes were cut on cereal box and cream cardstock using a Cuddlebug snowflake die. The inside flake was popped up on a similar snowflake sticker from the coordinating paper set as was the Naughty Nice sticker.
As an after thought it occurred to me that it would be cute to place a gift card on the inside striped panel. So when you unfold the treat bag, you have chocolates and a Spa card. I plan on making another one, this time adapting my gift card idea for my kids teachers. Chocolates and Spa time, great combination.
There are much more inspiring creations over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog, don't forget to head on over there to check them out.

Little Miss Muffet - Simplicity
Today's Little Miss Muffet Challenge is - #22 Simplicity.
I decided to make a Holiday Recipe card in Photoshop. Pretty simple since Shabby Princess already made the recipe card template for me. All I had to do was drop in my .png image of Coriander as Goldilocks onto the premade recipe card, type in my recipe and re-arrange it around Corianders body. Once it was printed onto Xpress It paper and left to dry over night, I coloured Coriander in with my Copic markers. Simple huh!
I ran my marker in overlapping streaks on the skirt area to mimic the plaid in the digital recipe card border. Didn't turn out too bad - I thought :D
When you order a digital stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, you get two file formats; a .png and a jpeg. For those of you who aren't familiar with the differences between file formats:
A .jpeg has as white frame box around the image.
A .png however, is cropped completely around the image shape leaving no frame box or white spaces around the outside of that image. Making it perfect to place ontop of backgrounds.
For more great Simplicity ideas, head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog.
I am submitting this recipe card in for the following challenges:
One Stitch At A Time - #87 Use a Digi
Creative Craft Challenges - Minimalistic
Totally Stampalicisous - Anything Goes
Digital Tuesday Challenge - #136 Anything Goes
Raise the Bar - # 82 No Embellishment

Are you ready for another wonderful and completely easy challenge at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog - Challenge #72 is Anything Goes!
My daughter's bestie from school is going away on vacation with her family. I whipped up these little Annie Prezzie gift bags for the two sister's. Each girl is getting a processing included disposable camera for their trip. I know how much my kids love taking their own photos, so thought the girl's might love it too.
You must stop over at the TI - Challenge Blog and see the other ladies creations. These women inspire me each ever day. And OUR challenge participants, geez! - there is so much talent out there.
Details:
Paper: Bo Bunny - Snowfall Collection
Ticket Digi - When the Scrap Hits the Fun!
K and Company - Blue Border stickers (I cute them into flower pieces - arranged around the flowers)
This Gift Set is submitted for the following challenges:
Allsorts Challenge Blog - Anything, But Square
Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C112 Wrap It Up!

LLM Chloe & Sarah
It's New Release time again at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and some even better news:
!! Hooray - it's a SALE !!
Barbara of Little Miss Muffet Stamps will be out of town for the rest of the week and orders will be filled on her return Sunday evening. Due to the long wait... from now until Sunday evening (8:00 pm Central Time), anyone who places an order of $10.00 or more can pick out a FREE digi!! Just include you choice in the comments section of your order and Barbara will include it with your purchase! :D
Now on to the New Releases. Meet Sarah and Chloe. Sarah is reclining in the rocker with her book and Hot Cocoa while happy little Chloe dishes the latest new to her big sis. Well, at least that what I envisioned when I merged Sarah and Chloe together with MIC's - fireplace digi.
I had to main goals when I put together this card. First; to finally dig into the gorgeous Bo Bunny - Vicki B Collection DP which was also paper pieced as wallpaper.
Secondly; to emphasize the shadows and highlights cast by the fireplace on all the elements, not just the characters. Since the fireplace was my source of light, the characters and such have areas closest to the fireplace highlighted and are in shadow on areas furthest away from the fireplace.
I love how Chloe's shirt turned out. Yes I did purposely change the order of the pink and green stripes on the sleeves, but I think it looks a bit random now. Should have stuck to a pattern. I also admittedly went easy on the layout, since it took me such a long time colouring the image.
How's the photo? I am trying a new trick I learned from watching this tutorial from Deconstructing Jen. I have a standard off the shelf digital camera that won't do the adjustments Jen suggest. I however did follow the Level-white eye dropper and sharpening effect in PS on my image. The difference was HUGE! Can't rave enough about the changes.
This card is submitted into the following challenges:
Send A Smile 4 Kids - For the Girls
Cute Card Thursday - #189 Baby Your a Firework
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - #136 Borders & Frames

Candy Cane Sweetness
I know, I know. It's the day after Halloween and I've jumped right ahead to Christmas. What's a girl to do. Actually, December seems likes such a busy month, I don't know how much scrapping I can fit in then, so November works for me. ;D
You are going to love the challenge over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge site, because today's challenge is #71 - "Anything Goes". I love no parameters ;D
I just can't help squeal with delight over this Lilli Claire - Sweet Christmas Dreams. She is one of my very fave Christmas images at the Tiddly Inks store.
I have a quick Copic tip for you. I don't have a lot of reds, in fact I only have the standard R20 R22 and R27 standby that I use for all my red and pinks. I needed to make this standby go a little further and do deep red or burgundy for this card. W1 worked perfectly. It deepened and dulled down the red giving it a darker red appearance. My wish list is quite long. More ranges of red Copics are waaaaaaay down the list.
DP: Imiginisce - Polar Expressions.
This card is submitted for the following challenges:
A Gem of A Challenge - #33 Cold and Frosty
Come and Get It Challenge - Anything Goes Week
Lollipop Crafts - #55 Anything Goes

Monster High Again!
I've had way too much fun colouring up these Tiddly Inks - Sugar and Spice girls. They are so awesome. You can't help but glob on the Glossy Accents and Stickles with these fab girls.
I wanted to use them this time in a Non-Halloween card. Oh I did do a little altering to these ladies. I removed a Halo and a swirling of bats before I merged them together.
I can't help, but colouring up these Sugar and Spice beauty's like Monster High dolls. My daughter had a birthday 2 weeks ago and received almost every single girl. I am fascinated with them, their forms, their makeup and I wish I had the nerve and the taste to dress so fun in High School.
I mocked up my Sugar and Spice girls in the Sketch Saturday's - Week 178.sketch layout using DCWV - Teen Prints DP. I don't use a lot of triangle shapes on my cards, so this was a fun escape.
I learned a great tip a while back that you can colour over you pearl stickers with Copics. It works perfectly and ensures I always have the right colour on hand. The Letter gems are from the dollar store.
The skulls are from Tiddly Inks - Down to Your Bones Mega Pack. I merged the bow from Tiddly Inks - Watcha Doing? ontop of the skull to make it Monster High-ish! Hope I'm not infringing on any copyrights!
